Dragon Fish

Hey! This is Britney showing you delicious dishes from NorthEast China!

So, you have probably heard of sweet and sour pork. A staple in Chinese fast food dish. Well, let me introduce to you Dragon Fish, which is basically sweet and sour fish. You would find this dish at a NorthEast Chinese restaurant.

To describe the dish, it is a battered deep-fried whole fish that is deboned and cut into pieces that are still attached to the fish. This way, it is easier to pick out the fish. It is covered in a thick sweet and tangy sauce, typically the same sauce you would have in sweet and sour pork. It's crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside.

If you want to try this out in Sydney, I strongly recommend Hong Fu Northern East Chinese Restaurant at Parramatta. They're known for their authentic foods with a wide variety of choices! (p.s. don't expect top-notch customer service but I can assure you that they have the best tasting dishes. That is what Chinese culture is all about!)

Address: 103 George Street, Parramatta, SydneyNSW
