Introduction



Hello, Everyone

This blog is an introduction for our group members as well as briefly main topic in following blogs during the next few weeks. We will talk about some foods which come from different countries. Different cultures may have their own cooking style, unique tastes for foods.

There are four members in our team: Seven, Callista, Britney and Lin

Seven(from ChongQing,China):
She will introduce the culture of Chongqing's food.Chongqing is a city located in the middle part of China. In ChongQing, people like spicy food and they will use lots of chili for cooking. During the following weeks, she will talk about how to cook traditional Chongqing food as well as show us how delicious the food is.

Callista (from Indonesia ) :
As same as ChongQing, Indonesian food is known for their special spices and Indonesian love spicy foods as well. she will introduce some Indonesian traditional food.

Britney(from China):
Her family is from Northeast China, the cuisine is very different to typical Chinese food, drawing influence from Korea and Russia. An example would be pickling, very common due to the harsh cold winter weather, the most common is pickled Chinese cabbage. During the following blogs, she will explore the variety of Chinese food that you would not typically find at Chinese restaurants.

Lin (from China):
 During the time Lin was living in Tokyo, he had been to many places and ate a lot of Japanese food. One of his favorite food is sushi. During the following blogs, he will introduce delicious food in japan.
