Hi again! It's Britney introducing you to NorthEastern Chinese cuisine. One of the most popular dishes from this cuisine is called di san xian (roughly translated to "three delights from the earth"). It may seem these translations sound too corny but it truly is that good!   This is comprised of three main ingredients: potatoes, eggplant and green capsicum. (what is there to not like about potatoes 😀) It's a golden stir-fry infused with flavours of garlic, vinegar and a sweet brown sauce.  This is a classic dish that is a must-try when you visit your next NorthEast restaurant.  As for a recommendation, I would still recommend eating at Hong Fu, they make the best representation of di san xian in my opinion!  Reference:  https://www.blog.thatsmandarin.com/5-top-dishes-to-order-at-dongbei-restaurants/ Image: https://thewoksoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/di-san-xian-7.jpg
